Verbs with infinitives ending in -оть
Russian grammar --> Verbs with infinitives in -оть
Russian verbs ending in -оть drop the -о- in the non past and the root-final p (or л) becomes soft. These verbs have shifting stress. Verbs of this type will have the following pattern:
