Russian grammar --> Conjugation I. Verbs with infinitives in -ывать/-ивать
Russian verbs ending in -ывать/-ивать conjugate regularly: they drop -ть and add first-conjugation endings. Thus, verbs of this type will have the following conjugation pattern:

Non-past forms of the verb открывать to open
