Verbs with infinitives in -овать, -евать

To form the non-past forms of Russian verbs ending in -овать, the suffix -ова- is replaced with the vowel -у- before regular unstressed first-conjugation endings are added. Thus, verbs of this type will have the following conjugation pattern:

1st person	я стартую	мы стартуем
2nd person	ты стартуешь	вы стартуете
3d person	он стартует	они стартуют

This conjugation pattern will also apply to verbs having the suffux -евать after consonants ж, ц, ч, ш, щ, for example like in the Russian verb танцевать to dance.

In several verbs ending in -евать, the suffix -ева- is replaced with the vowel -ю before regular endings, for example, like in the Russian verb воевать to wage war:
